THE BAND

Thee Spivs were a Neo Punk band formed in London in 2007 by founding members Ben Edge and Steve Coley now of the Electric pencils. After originally performing as a two piece they recruited Dan may on bass who quit the band in 2012 being replaced by Daniel Husain who remained with the group until there split in 2014.

In 2009 Thee Spivs released their debut single ‘It’s True’ on 1965 records and then signed to Damaged goods the following year and went on to release three critically acclaimed full length albums ‘Taped up',‘Black and White Memories’ and 'The Crowds and the Sounds' as well as four 7” singles (I Don’t Want It, Radio, TV Screen and Flickin V’s) as well as singles for Swiss label Voodoo Rhythm and American label Almost Ready. They also recorded a radio one session for the Huw Stevens show and had there song 'Radio' voted as one of the best songs of 2010.

Thee Spivs third album 'The Crowds and the Sounds' was released on June 24th 2013.
